Duties and Responsibilities:

Health education provides info for health related issues. They are assessing health training needs and plan health concerns, illnesses, or working settings. Health indicators may work independent consultants or in health department, community, organizations, businesses, hospitals, schools, government health educators often:

·      Perform health training needs assignments

·      Design and develop health education programs

·      Publish health education materials, information papers, and grant proposal

·      Develop health education curriculum

·      Teach health in public and private schools

Average Salary: $200,000-$35,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take college preparatory courses during high school.

Health Education have as many minimum a bachelor`s degree in health education. Many have master`s degree, to be certified or licensed to tech health in public or private schools require a master`s degree and succefully completion of written examines in many states.

I wouldn’t like to be a health educator because, that is not my thing. I want to do something that is a bit more exciting than being a health educator.
