Orthotist
Duties and Responsibilities: They
work with patients that need extra help for their:
· Muscles
· Spine
· Or limbs.
They designed a plastic apparatus to
help strengthen, replace and, get that extra support. They work closely with physician;
physicians may give a prescription to patients to help that specific patient
get access to receive their medicine they need. They often use the computer to
design an apparatus to help their patient get well and better.
Salary: $25,000-$40,000
Education: If you wish to become a Orthotic,
you`ll need to take challenging classes during high school, as to math, science
and, English courses. Some universities offer bachelor`s degree in Orthotics.
This includes anatomy, physicians, mathematics, mechanical drawing, and how and
what materials is being able to use, based on the mechanic device.
Reflection: I wouldn`t like to be a
Optotist because, it’s not the specific job I would like as a career. Honestly,
I wouldn’t want to be taking care of someone as a career or work, I would
rather do something spontaneous, something that is more above than optotist.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
